Did you get a letter from United Healthcare about your Medicare Advantage plan recently?
There is no change to your plan coverage, Carent will continue to accept your Med Advantage plan. We apologize for the confusion caused by an administrative error. You will receive an updated letter from United Healthcare stating this for your records very soon. United Healthcare mailed letters to patients to correct this on December 16, 2024. If you have any questions, please reach out to us by phone at 888-356-5227 or submit a Contact Form
We understand insurance coverage is complicated and often confusing.
You may have received a letter from your insurance company stating you are only covered if you have laboratory services performed with a specific lab. This is based on national contracts with commercial laboratories and your insurance carrier. However, our hospital labs are REGIONALLY PREFERRED providers affiliated with all major insurance plans.
When speaking to your insurance provider or looking on their website please use the name CARENT LABORATORY SOLUTIONS and not the name of the hospital.
While most of our Carent labs participate in the following health plans linked below, we recommend that patients:
–
Contact Carent prior to your lab visit to confirm participation with your insurance.
– Contact your insurance provider to verify coverage for your lab tests before your lab visit
If you are interested in self-pay pricing, please contact the
lab location of your choosing directly.
The lists linked below may change from time to time.
